The Future approaches quicker than we expect - at the 1st Futurist Forum in Budapest in October 2019 we thought that digital learning will take another 10 years to take off. 3 years and a pandemic later we know the future is already reality - digital learning and hybrid meetings are common practice. So what else should we expect? What will be needed in Lifelong Learning in Healthcare 10 years down the road and how quick will we need it. I think we are just scratching the surface. The technologies available now enable developers to deliver and scale far quicker (and more cost-effectively) than before. The bringing of learning closer to the workplace, making it more social, and more personalised is accelerating.
There is a lot of "noise" regarding the future of healthcare and it is a very complex subject to be sure, with many, many perspectives and ideas for improving the quality of patient care. I wonder what are the most "pressing" changes that are needed, and if they are likely to happen in the current global economic climate?
